Introduction: The Source of All Supply In a world full of economic uncertainty, anxiety about money is common. But as Muslims, we have a guarantee. Allah calls Himself Al-Razzaq (The Total Provider). He is the One who created the sustenance and created the means for you to access it. Even the worm inside a rock in the deep ocean receives its daily food from Al-Razzaq.

Meaning of Al-Razzaq It comes from "Rizq" (Provision). The form "Razzaq" indicates exaggeration and continuity. He doesn't just provide once; He provides constantly, to everyone, everywhere.

  • General Rizq: Food, money, oxygen (Given to all living beings).

  • Special Rizq: Faith, wisdom, peace of heart (Given only to the beloved believers).

The Keys to Unlocking Rizq

  1. Istighfar (Seeking Forgiveness): Prophet Nuh (Noah) told his people that asking for forgiveness brings rain and wealth.

  2. Tawakkul (Trust): The Prophet ﷺ said: "If you relied on Allah as He should be relied on, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds." They leave hungry in the morning and return full at night.

  3. Charity: Giving does not decrease wealth; it purifies and multiplies it.

Conclusion Stop chasing the creation for money, and start chasing the Creator. When you fix your relationship with Al-Razzaq, the Rizq will chase you.
