Introduction: The Only Cure When doctors give up, a believer turns to Al-Shafi (The Healer). In Islam, illness is a test and a purification for sins, but we are commanded to seek a cure. Al-Shafi is the One who holds the remedy for every ailment, physical or spiritual.
Meaning of Al-Shafi He is the One who cures the body from diseases and the heart from envy and doubt. Medicine is the tool, but Allah is the Curer. As Prophet Ibrahim said: "And when I am ill, it is He who cures me."
