Remembrance of dressing and taking it off

In the name of God.

When taking off the dress

You will be afflicted and God Almighty will replace you.

A prayer for someone who wears a new dress

Wear new, live virtuous, and die a martyr.

A prayer for someone who wears a new dress

Praise be to God who has clothed me with what I can cover my private parts with, and with which I can beautify myself in my life.

When wearing clothes

Oh God, make it a garment of piety and well-being.

Supplication (recommended)

Oh God, as you have improved my character, improve my character.

When looking in the mirror

Praise be to God who clothed me with this garment and provided me with it without any power or strength on my part.

When wearing the dress

In the name of God.

When taking off the dress - it covers what is between the eyes of the jinn and the private parts of the children of Adam

O children of Adam, We have sent down to you clothing to cover your outer garments and feathers, and the clothing of piety - that is best.

Remember the blessing of clothing (Al-A’raf 26)

Oh God, praise be to You because You clothed him. I ask You for his good and the good that was done to him, and I seek refuge in You from his evil and the evil of what was done to him.

When wearing new clothes

Praise be to God who made me a normal creation.

When looking in the mirror after dressing

Praise be to God who clothed me with this (garment) and provided me with it without any power or strength on my part.

When he puts on the dress - his previous sins are forgiven
