O Ever-Living, O Ever-Living, by Your mercy I seek help.

God, God, my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him.

There is no god but God, the Great, the Forbearing, there is no god but God, Lord of the Great Throne, there is no god but God, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Throne. The generous one.

Oh God, I seek refuge in You from worry and sadness, helplessness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debt and the dominance of men.

Oh God, I hope for your mercy, so do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye, and set all my affairs straight for me. There is no god but You.

The prayer of the distressed

Oh God, I am your servant, the son of your servant, the son of your female slave, my forelock is in your hand, I will continue in your judgment, I will be just in your decree, I ask you in every name that is Why did you name yourself with it, or revealed it in your book, or taught it to any of your creation, or kept it unique in your knowledge of the unseen? You make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the removal of my sadness, and the release of my worries.

Whoever says it, may God remove his worry and replace it with joy
