The commandment to love the poor

My friend, peace and blessings of God be upon him, advised me to do seven things: “To love the poor and to get close to them, and to look at those who are lower than me and not at those who are lower than me.” He is above me...”

The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: “O Abu Dharr, do you think that an abundance of money is wealth? Wealth is the richness of the heart, and poverty is the poverty of the heart.”
